Striving toward better emotional, relational, and organizational health
Adriana Sosa, MSW, LSW
- Licensed Social Worker
- Offering Services in English and Spanish
Life’s challenges are not meant to be faced alone. Whether you’re processing trauma, navigating a life transition, adjusting to motherhood, exploring your identity or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a space to slow down, gain insight, and create meaningful change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment where you feel supported, understood, and empowered.
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) providing individual therapy for adults across all stages of life. I earned my Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University (SIU), where my clinical training in health and mental health allowed me to work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, strengthening my commitment to inclusive, person-centered care.
My approach is trauma-informed and draws from psychodynamic, humanistic, and systems theories. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, maternal mental health concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
With experience as a birth doula, I also bring specialized support in maternal mental health. I understand the emotional and identity changes that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, reproductive journeys, and parenthood.
I am a bilingual therapist; providing therapy in both English and Spanish. I have experience supporting immigrants, multicultural families, and individuals navigating identity, cultural expectations, and life in the United States. I strive to offer care that is culturally humble, affirming, and responsive to each client’s unique experiences.
I believe healing is a process, not a quick fix. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, relationships, family systems, and cultural identity have shaped you, while building new patterns that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.
